LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Occidental Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:OXY) announced today that Richard
W. Hallock, Executive Vice President, Human Resources, plans to retire
at the end of the year after completion of 14 years of service with the
company.
Commenting on Mr. Hallock's retirement following a career spanning more
than 40 years, Oxy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ray R.
Irani said, "Oxy has been fortunate to have an executive on our
management team with Dick's broad human resources knowledge and
experience. His significant contributions to our success over the years
are greatly appreciated."
Martin Cozyn has been named Executive Vice President - Human Resources,
effective April 1. Prior to joining Oxy, Mr. Cozyn was with Nortel
Networks, most recently as Vice President, Global Human Resources. Mr.
Cozyn began his career as a human resources professional with Bell
Northern Research and holds an honors Bachelor of Business
Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
